Meet Barbara Bressack, Founder of Strategy Impact Collective
I have experience as an executive, strategist, and board leader within non-profit organizations. I am passionate about supporting mission-driven leaders and organization who want to increase their effectiveness and elevate their impact.
As COO at Volunteers of America Michigan, I led senior leaders across multiple divisions, strengthened enterprise-wide systems and infrastructure, and advanced organizational performance, accountability, and service outcomes. Earlier, during my 20 year career at Henry Ford Health, including my last role as VP of Strategy & Planning, I led enterprise strategic planning and held leadership roles in organizational and leadership development, supporting growth and transformation during my tenure.
I also serve on the Boards of two local nonprofits addressing critical community needs, including ACCESS and Gesher Human Services, where I have contributed in governance leadership roles since 2019. This breadth of experience informs my coaching, consulting and advisory services and affords me the ability to support leaders who are balancing mission, strategy, operations, and people leadership.
I am a 2 time University of Michigan grad. I hold a Master of Health Services Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan. I also have an Executive Coaching certification from the Center for Executive Coaching.
