Meet Barbara Bressack, Founder of Strategy Impact Collective
Barbara has experience as an executive, strategist, and board leader within non-profit organizations. She is passionate about supporting mission-driven leaders and organizations who want to increase their effectiveness and elevate their impact.
As COO at Volunteers of America Michigan, she led senior leaders across multiple divisions, strengthened enterprise-wide systems and infrastructure, and advanced organizational performance, accountability, and service outcomes. Earlier, during her 20 year career at Henry Ford Health, including her last role as VP of Strategy & Planning, she led enterprise strategic planning and held leadership roles in organizational and leadership development, supporting growth and transformation during her tenure.
She proudly serves on the Boards of two local nonprofits addressing critical community needs, including ACCESS and Gesher Human Services, where she has contributed in governance leadership roles since 2019. This breadth of experience informs her coaching, consulting and advisory services and affords the ability to support leaders who are balancing mission, strategy, operations, and people leadership.
She is 2 time University of Michigan grad (GO BLUE!). She holds a Master of Health Services Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan.
